Regular commuters along Warrenton’s Broadview Avenue may have noticed a bright yellow transformation taking place at a familiar location.
The building at 95 Broadview Ave., previously home to the Warrenton Pizza Hut and a Moe’s Southwest Grill, which closed in February, is receiving a makeover in preparation for its new occupant: Manassas-based The Omelette Café.
The property, listed for lease by the Segall Group, is being prepared for the arrival of the family-owned and operated restaurant, which will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and other menu items in a full-service setting.
The Omelette Café first opened in December 2015 just outside downtown Manassas. The new Warrenton location will mark the restaurant’s second venture, bringing its signature menu closer to local residents.
“Upon opening for service, we will continue to use the drive-thru facilities that the building currently has, as well as the outdoor seating and dining area,” the restaurant’s owners indicated in application documents submitted to the town.
Attempts to reach The Omelette Café owners were not immediately successful.
