One person was killed and another seriously injured after a Monday afternoon crash on Interstate 95 northbound near Lorton involving two speeding cars.
Two vehicles were traveling at a high rate of speed when one of them, a BMW convertible, changed lanes and struck a third vehicle near the 163 mile marker in Fairfax County, Virginia State Police spokesperson Matthew Demlein said in a news release.
The BMW then went off of the right side of the interstate and struck the guardrail and the jersey wall. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and then run over by the car the BMW had made contact with. The driver died at the scene, Demlein said.
A passenger in the vehicle, who was also not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected and taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, he said.

Hopefully an innocent person other than the two idiots speeding was not injured. Actions have consequences, you live with them and in this case the person died with them.
